Testing Floop with TestFlight

TestFlight is an official tool from Apple that lets developers share preview versions of apps, before they’re released on App Store.

TestFlight has helpful features that make it really easy for you to share screenshots and feedback if you spot a bug.

To install pre-release versions of Floop, you will need to use TestFlight.

You’ll receive an email from TestFlight on the email no_reply@email.apple.com. Once that’s landed in your inbox you need to:

1. Open the email and click “View in Test Flight”
2. Highlight the code in step 3 and Copy it. Don’t worry if you forget to do it, you can always open this page later.
3. Click the get TestFlight from the App Store link
4. App Store will open on the TestFlight page. Click Get
5. Confirm you Apple ID log-in to complete the download of the TestFlight app

1. Open TestFlight.
2. Allow notifications to receive alerts about testing updates.
3. Tap Continue
4. Read and Agree to the terms and conditions
5. Click Redeem. Tap and hold in the Redeem box to Paste the code you copied earlier.
       If you haven’t copied the code, open your invite email and follow steps 1 & 2 again.
6. Tap Install to load Floop onto your phone
7. When downloaded, tap Open
8. Allow notifications
9. Tap Next and Start testing

Now you can access Floop directly from your iPhone’s home screen.

Spot a bug or have a suggestion? There are three easy ways to share feedback:

1. Share a screenshot

• Take a screenshot in the Floop app
• Open the screenshot and tap the share icon
• Tap Share Beta Feedback
• Add comments and written feedback about what you’ve seen. Bonus points for adding info about what you were doing when an error happened.
• Tap Submit
  

2. Send a crash report

If the Floop app crashes, you’ll receive an alert to send a crash report.

Click Share to automatically send info to us so we can understand what caused the crash. This helps us to make the app more stable.
